📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and maintain SQL Server and Azure SQL databases across multiple environments. • Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively tune queries, indexes, and storage for efficiency. • Own database backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes across on-premise and cloud systems. • Manage role-based access controls, encryption, and user provisioning across environments. • Support OCP’s migration from legacy on-premise systems to Azure SQL and Synapse. • Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure data delivery meets reporting and analytics needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with exposure to Azure cloud. • Strong knowledge of database tuning, indexing, partitioning, and performance monitoring. • Experience implementing and maintaining backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions. • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy/security requirements.
