📋 Description

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction drawings using Cubit • Prepare detailed cost estimates for plastering (fixing, setting, rendering) and carpentry (framing, fit-out, joinery) works • Apply current material and labor rates to build competitive, accurate quotes • Liaise with suppliers to confirm material pricing and availability • Prepare and submit tender/bid documentation within deadlines • Cross-check drawings for scope gaps, discrepancies, or missing details and flag them to the project team • Maintain and update pricing databases and rate libraries • Track estimate versions and respond to variations or scope changes • Communicate with the Australia-based team via Teams and email for clarifications and handovers

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years' estimating experience, ideally with plastering and/or carpentry trade exposure • Proficient in estimating software (required); Buildsoft, CostX, Bluebeam or Cubit a plus • Strong understanding of Australian residential/commercial building methods and material standards • Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction drawings accurately • Solid written and spoken English for client-facing communication • Comfortable working Australian day-shift hours (9am–5pm AEST) • High attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines
