• Type and update patient information, medical forms, billing details, and internal records into secure databases. • Perform remote document processing, including formatting, proofreading, and organizing digital files. • Review and audit typed content to ensure compliance with organizational and healthcare documentation standards. • Communicate with administrative and clinical teams to clarify incomplete or unclear information. • Maintain accuracy, speed, and consistency while performing a high volume of typing tasks. • Use remote tools and cloud-based systems to manage workloads efficiently. • Participate in data audits, reporting, and documentation cleanup projects as needed. • Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred. • 1–3 years of experience as a typist, data entry clerk, medical documentation assistant, or similar role. • Excellent typing accuracy with a minimum of 55 wpm. • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting. • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. • Familiarity with EMR systems, medical terminology, and digital filing practices is a plus. • Clear communication skills and strong time-management capabilities.
