📋 Description

• Assist in the coordination and documentation of external vendor and evaluations • Support monitoring of supplier performance through data collection, follow-up actions, and report preparation • Provide oversight to suppliers during key points of fabrication such as welding, testing and nondestructive examination • Help maintain and update audit schedules, plans, checklists, and other QA records • Review procurement documentation for alignment with QA requirements • Assist with tracking and resolving nonconformances, including follow-up on corrective and preventive actions • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure quality requirements are implemented in accordance with regulatory requirements as procedures are developed and revised • Support quality training initiatives and help develop QA-related materials for external stakeholders • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the external QA domain • Help prepare metrics, reports, and presentations related to quality system performance and improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or quality-related field OR minimum 4 years within QA roles in regulated industries may be used in lieu of a degree • Minimum of two years quality assurance experience within a regulated industry is required. This experience need not be in a direct quality assurance or oversight role. • Familiarity with quality system standards such as ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, ANSI/ANS 15.8, or equivalent • Basic understanding of QA processes such as document control, audits, and nonconformance management • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard QA tracking/documentation tools
