📋 Description

• Build the backend and integrations to the architect's design, including the HIPAA-AWS foundation using infrastructure-as-code • Implement the clearinghouse eligibility integration: build the EDI 270 request, call the REST API, and parse the 271 response • Build the check engine with scheduler/SQS-driven daily eligibility sweeps, pending-enrollment polling, and countdown logic • Build and maintain the encrypted coverage data store and alerting • Own integration-path testing end-to-end • Work heads-down with daily standups, delivering to the contract consumed by the front-end/automation engineer • Own the integration layer and check engine end-to-end on a production healthcare platform

🎯 Requirements

• Senior backend engineering experience (5+ years) • Strong in Python or Node.js/TypeScript • PostgreSQL and REST API design • Solid working AWS experience: Fargate/ECS, SQS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch • Able to execute infrastructure-as-code designed by an architect • Strong experience integrating third-party APIs and handling messy external data • Healthcare EDI (ANSI 270/271) or clearinghouse integration experience is nice to have • Event-driven / queue-based pipeline experience is nice to have • HIPAA / PHI handling experience is nice to have • Terraform or AWS CDK is nice to have • Resume must be submitted in English • LinkedIn Profile URL always required • GitHub Repository required • Certifications, such as AWS, if applicable • Cover letter optional but encouraged
