📋 Description

• Job Title: General Accountant for Automotive / Industrial Company. • Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced General Accountant who possesses a strong understanding of both Italian local GAAP and US GAAP, as well as extensive experience in industrial and automotive accounting. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, reconciling accounting records, and managing end-to-end accounting functions. • Key Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local (Italian) GAAP and US GAAP. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results and compliance with accounting standards. • Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of accounting records, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany accounts. • Identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts. • End-to-End Accounting: Manage the full accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Industrial Accounting: Apply specialized knowledge of industrial accounting practices to manage costs, inventory, and production accounting. • Prepare cost analysis reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities. • Automotive Industry Accounting: Utilize experience in automotive industry accounting to handle sector-specific financial processes and reporting. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. • Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting procedures. • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making. • Prepare and present financial reports to management. • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support. • Communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting, with a strong focus on industrial and automotive accounting. • Extensive knowledge of local (Italian) GAAP and US GAAP. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
