📋 Description

• Build and manage GCP infrastructure across core services including Compute, networking, IAM, storage, and GKE. • Support and execute migrations from on-premises or multi-cloud environments into GCP, including lift-and-shift and replatforming strategies. • Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to ensure repeatable, scalable, and production-ready deployments. • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues while identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and cloud cost management. • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across the full project lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps. • 4-6+ years of proven hands-on experience working with GCP in production environments, with a strong understanding of Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, and storage. • Experience executing cloud migrations from on-premises or multi-cloud environments into GCP. • Ability to work independently in a contract or client-facing delivery environment. • Strong experience with Terraform preferred. • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, including GKE, is highly valuable. • Solid Linux systems knowledge and strong networking fundamentals. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and scripting in Python or Bash. • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and cloud cost optimization best practices. • Experience working across hybrid or multi-cloud environments is a plus. • Relevant Google Cloud certification required. • Demonstrated experience working with GCP in live production environments.
