📋 Description

• Design and implement complex headless eCommerce solutions using React and Next.js integrated with BigCommerce • Guide end-to-end technical architecture of BigCommerce implementations, including modular components, storefronts, APIs, integrations, data flows, security, scalability, and performance • Collaborate with UI/UX to define and validate an omnichannel storefront proof of concept • Establish development standards, architectural patterns, and technical best practices • Lead and mentor developers • Conduct code reviews • Troubleshoot and debug frontend, backend, API, and cloud-environment issues • Optimize frontend rendering, API usage, caching, and integrations • Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, QA, and DevOps • Stay updated on eCommerce trends, BigCommerce features, and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • At least 10 years of experience in web development • At least 5 years of hands-on BigCommerce development experience • Advanced knowledge of BigCommerce architecture, platform capabilities, APIs, and eCommerce development • Proven ability to design architecture of enterprise solutions • Proven experience architecting omnichannel eCommerce solutions, including integrations and data synchronization across storefronts, sales channels, and backend systems • Advanced experience with React.js and Next.js for modern headless storefront development • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Tailwind • Knowledge of server-side languages such as Node.js • Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and webhooks • Proven experience in SQL and NoSQL database design and management • Previous experience with cloud development platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud • Experience with Git, code versioning, and branching strategies • Previous experience with technical SEO best practices for eCommerce platforms • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills • Excellent planning, prioritization, and time-management skills • Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-driven approach • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making • High attention to detail and continuous improvement • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, and effectively coach and mentor team members • Excellent English proficiency (C1 level or higher)
