📋 Description

• Build and ship Android app features and interactions end to end • Close the feature and quality gap with iOS and take Android beyond it • Contribute original product ideas rather than only executing specifications • Design and analyze A/B tests and act on metrics • Own Play Store releases, rollouts, and policy compliance • Improve development workflows, tooling, and team use of AI • Work directly with design and product in a flat, collaborative structure • Support customers and stay close to their experiences • Influence Android architecture, quality standards, and priorities • Potentially grow into technical leadership of the Android platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building Android apps, with work demonstrable live in the Play Store • Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, coroutines, Flow, and the Android toolchain • Strong attention to product and visual details • Established and continually improving workflows for working with AI • Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup • Comfort with ambiguity and independently resolving it • Product judgment about what makes a feature succeed • Bonus: Experience with permissions, overlays, accessibility services, usage stats, foreground services, background work, and notifications • Bonus: Experience with Health Connect, Google Fit, or similar health and wellbeing platforms • Bonus: Experience with Wear OS, Glance widgets, and other non-phone surfaces • Bonus: Experience training or fine-tuning models • Bonus: A/B testing and analytics experience • Bonus: Play Console release management, CI, and Firebase • Bonus: Apps of your own in the Play Store • French is a bonus
