📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • OpenLoop is seeking Genetic Counselors to offer specialized counseling services to assess and manage an individual's personalized health and wellness plan. • If you are passionate about delivering quality, compassionate patient care, this position is perfect for you! • This is an incredible work opportunity in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. • We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email). • As a Genetic Counselor, you will be helping our patients determine how their genes operate, what areas need improvement, and provide a roadmap on how to optimize them. • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, physicians, and dietitians to provide guidance and support through the processes of nutrition analysis, weight analysis, and developing precision nutrition plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics from an accredited program • Board certification through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) • Must possess active, non-restrictive genetic counselor licenses in a MINIMUM of 15 states REQUIRED • Minimum two years experience as a practicing genetic counselor required • Strong knowledge of genetics and hereditary conditions, particularly related to cancer preferred • Knowledge of genetic counseling protocols preferred • Competent in providing patient education at every visit • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Above-average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment • Timely and professional Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus

• $40 per 60 minute consult • $20 per 30 minute consult • This is a 1099 position for 10+ hrs per week • Hours of operation: M-F 7a-7p CST
