📋 Description

• Set the technical direction for OpenZeppelin’s Solana practice and serve as SVM technical lead across the portfolio • Port onchain fully homomorphic encryption primitives to the Solana SVM runtime • Design the confidential token standard and SDK patterns • Build developer abstractions for confidential computing on Solana • Lead Solana workstreams end to end, from architecture and implementation through audit preparation, deployment, and post-launch hardening • Build production-grade Solana programs and libraries with security as the primary constraint • Own design decisions involving storage and compute costs, upgradability, governance, and idiomatic Solana patterns • Run client-facing roadmap and design discussions independently • Review Solana work and set team standards • Represent OpenZeppelin with the Solana Foundation, core teams, and standards discussions • Publish work and contribute to open-source libraries and tooling • Build and use AI agents, skills, and workflows for security work • Collaborate with blockchain security researchers on cross-team research and protocol-level threat analysis

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years building on Solana in production • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture and delivery of multi-quarter workstreams • Deep fluency in the Solana Virtual Machine, including account model, PDAs, CPIs, compute budgeting, rent, account lifecycle, versioned transactions, address lookup tables, program upgradability, and governance • Productive with Anchor and comfortable working directly against the Solana runtime • Demonstrable experience auditing, breaking, or hardening production systems • Daily proficiency with Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent AI-native development tools • Shipped at least one non-trivial AI-powered tool, agent, or automation pipeline in production using the Anthropic SDK, MCP, custom evaluations, or comparable technologies • Fluency in client-facing communication in English, written and live • Intellectual curiosity, strong sense of purpose, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fully distributed team
