• Create duty rosters for dressers and manage rehearsal coverage in TheaSoft • Direct dressers’ assignments and oversee rehearsal support • Organize, place orders for and supervise temporary staff in the dressing department • Support performances, stage rehearsals and final rehearsals • Serve as the interface between the Costume Directorate, Stage Management and the Inspizienz (house/stage supervision) • Support revivals in close cooperation with the Repertoire Workshop • Maintain and update performance documentation, including photographic records, in consultation with the dressers • Provide support for guest performances/tours
• Completed apprenticeship as a bespoke tailor, trained wardrobe/costume master or equivalent qualification • Ability to work independently • High level of dedication • Assertiveness and decisiveness • Artistic sensitivity • High resilience and ability to work under pressure • Strong teamwork skills • Flexibility • Experience in theatre, film or television • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends • Good knowledge of English • Proficient in common Microsoft applications
• Permanent employment contract • Remuneration according to TV-L (Stiftung Oper in Berlin) – pay group EG 8 plus theatre operations allowance
