📋 Description

• Provide practical legal advice on data protection and privacy, including GDPR and local legislation across markets • Advise on privacy requirements throughout the lifecycle of patient and consumer programs across multiple countries • Draft and review privacy notices, consent language and data processing agreements • Advise on consent and preference management across the data lifecycle • Develop proportionate privacy policies, procedures and governance • Work with local experts and stakeholders to support a consistent global direction • Monitor regulatory developments • Advise on cross-border processing and international data transfers • Contribute to Global Privacy & Compliance Team priorities, including training and awareness activities

🎯 Requirements

• A law degree • At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial work with privacy and data protection • Strong knowledge of GDPR and related European privacy requirements • Experience advising on privacy and data protection matters involving direct engagement with patients, consumers or customers • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across functions and markets • Full professional proficiency in English • Practical, self-motivated and independent working style, with the ability to create structure and move things forward in an evolving environment • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry is nice-to-have • Experience supporting patient engagement, marketing, CRM, consent management or other direct-to-consumer initiatives, preferably across multiple countries, is nice-to-have • Experience applying privacy by design to digital products or platforms; familiarity with website tracking technologies, Salesforce, advertising platforms or marketing technology is an advantage
