📋 Description

• Contacts patients to collect accurate coverage information • Uses health information systems for customer interactions • Performs searches for patients in EPIC database • Assesses patient’s financial ability to pay for services • Sends eligibility requests to verify coverage • Interacts with medical staff and maintains relationships • Displays high level of customer service • Alerts management of problems with systems • Creates estimates and provides financial liability education

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • 1+ years of experience in insurance, healthcare, or related field • Excellent customer service skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • High level of interpersonal skills • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations • Attendance and professionalism • Ability to pay attention to detail • Experience with PC applications including MS Office and Internet • Ability to maintain employer training requirements
