• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation • Review and articulate historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data and monthly demand review • Determine when statistical models can be leveraged or human intervention is required • Develop new item forecasts • Interact with sales, supply chain, and product management teams to understand demand forecast drivers • Use a collaborative approach to ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts • Lead monthly regional Demand Reviews and attend required S&OP meetings • Develop, maintain, and evaluate metrics, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to ensure accuracy and optimal results • Extract and integrate data from multiple sources using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, and IBP • Use Business Intelligence tools for ad hoc analysis and reporting • Analyze data to support decision-making initiatives • Capture assumptions used and articulate impacts on the demand plan • Research, implement, and drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes through collaboration with local SCM and Global DP and IBP Lead • Partner with sales and global supply chain teams to build robust European demand projections • Report to a global manager while operating with significant autonomy
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Demand Planning, Supply Chain OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and training • Professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis in manufacturing or distribution • Proficient in SAP/IBP, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite system software • Strong skills in forecasting methodologies • Ability to engage and deliver presentations to stakeholders • Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles • Strong analytical capability and demonstrated ability to collect data, research, and identify problems • Strong logic skills with common sense approach and good judgment • Ability to utilize data through charts/graphs to tell the story and align key stakeholders from lower levels to C-suite • APICS Certification is a plus
