📋 Description

• Manage the full accounting cycle for HOAs, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports for HOA boards. • Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Assist in annual budget preparation and long-term financial planning. • Manage assessments, dues collection, late fees, and special assessments. • Ensure compliance with HOA governing documents and state/federal regulations. • Track reserve funds and maintain records of capital expenditures. • Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed. • Process vendor invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payments. • Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries. • Provide financial updates and insights to HOA boards and property managers. • Use Vantaca for accounting, billing, and financial reporting. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in HOA financial processes. • Maintain accurate digital records of financial transactions and correspondence.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in HOA or property management accounting • Hands-on experience with Vantaca is required • Strong knowledge of GAAP and HOA accounting principles • Proficiency with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial software • Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy • Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration. • Preferred Qualifications: CPA or equivalent accounting certification (U.S. or international) • Prior experience supporting U.S.-based HOA clients • Background in audit preparation and financial compliance.
