📋 Description
• Monitor, manage, tune relational databases and infrastructure • Ensure optimal database performance by monitoring server metrics, network & disk I/O • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries using Microsoft Query Store • Work within a high-performing engineering team in a SAFe/agile framework • Lead database projects and guide database design • Ensure compliance with database policies, procedures, and standards • Prepare and implement disaster recovery procedures • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues • Create and maintain database documentation • Provide 24x7 support for critical production issues
🎯 Requirements
• Proven recent experience of at least 7 years working with Oracle on Linux/Unix • Proven recent experience of at least 5 years of maintaining high-volume Oracle databases in a 24x7 production environment • Proven recent experience of building, running, and maintaining multiple databases within a Data Guard cluster • Experience configuring and working with ASM • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or a related field of study. • Reporting Services, SSAS, SSIS, and replication are required. • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus. • Proven experience with backups, restores, and recovery models. • Proven experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for MS SQL Server.
