📋 Description

• Contribute security-focused feedback to engineers during all phases of the development lifecycle • Perform technical security assessments on our web apps, APIs, native clients, internal services, and partner products • Stand up and operationalize commercial security tools, including integration and configuration for scalability • Design and build custom security tooling using at least one high-level language (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby) and one low-level language (e.g., Go, Rust, C#) • Seek out opportunities to automate processes when appropriate • Scale the impact of our team through direct mentorship of our more junior team members • Communicate risks to engineering staff through training and technical demonstration of vulnerabilities and secure design patterns • Maintain and create secure development practices and programs for our engineering teams and external developers • Act as an ambassador for security within OutSystems • Serve as a public representative for security at OutSystems by engaging periodically in internal and external speaking engagements • Identify emerging classes of vulnerabilities and develop solutions before they become a wider problem • Efficiently scope blackbox, whitebox, and graybox assessments to optimize security review time and resources

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience securing large-scale enterprise systems and building automation for security tooling • Proficient in one high-level (e.g., Python, Java) and one low-level language (e.g., Go, Rust, C#) • Deep expertise in AWS (required), Kubernetes, and modern microservices; Azure experience is a plus • Familiar with AI/ML security concerns and distinctions between pentesting, red teaming, and purple teaming • Strong communicator and collaborator across remote, cross-functional teams; public speaking is a bonus
