📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of web-based game experiences using PixiJS and React • Architect and implement scalable Node.js back-end services • Integrate real-time gameplay features including multiplayer, leaderboards, and in-game events • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate game concepts into performant interactive experiences • Optimize client-server communication using WebSockets and REST APIs for low-latency gameplay • Apply game development best practices to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines • Contribute to technical strategy and code reviews • Mentor junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on game or interactive application development • Strong expertise in PixiJS or other HTML5/WebGL frameworks and/or React • Proficiency with Node.js and scalable back-end services • Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, and multiplayer synchronization • Experience with databases, ideally PostgreSQL • Understanding of performance optimization, rendering pipelines, and client-server architecture • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows • Background in crypto or iGaming is nice to have • Background in multiplayer gaming, gambling, or iGaming platforms is nice to have • Familiarity with game networking protocols, animations, and physics engines is nice to have • Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers is nice to have • Knowledge of AWS and containerized environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS is nice to have
