📋 Description

• Own and evolve Webshare's production infrastructure • Lead migration from Docker Swarm to on-premises Kubernetes • Maintain high availability across hundreds of servers and approximately 50 services • Drive observability in cooperation with the development team • Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code practices and CI/CD pipeline reliability • Participate in the on-call rotation alongside backend engineers • Respond to infrastructure incidents, lead resolution, run post-mortems, and drive systematic remediation • Contribute to platform tooling that improves developer experience and reduces infrastructure toil • Co-own infrastructure with a strong team of backend engineers • Webshare provides an enterprise-grade proxy platform delivering access to over 80 million global IPs across 195 countries for web scraping, market research, and automated data collection

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and operating highly available infrastructure at scale, including hundreds of servers and dozens of services under real production load • Hands-on Kubernetes in self-hosted/bare-metal environments • Confidence with Infrastructure as Code • Scripting and development skills • Proactive approach and ability to keep the team informed • Nice to have: Led at least one major infrastructure migration • Nice to have: Python and/or Go familiarity • Nice to have: Exposure to proxy and networking-heavy infrastructure • Nice to have: Previous experience in a small team where developers shared infrastructure responsibility • Nice to have: Familiarity with edge clusters or split compute/edge architectures
