📋 Description
• Identify and recruit influential practitioners, thought leaders, and engineers to deliver live sessions, workshops, and panel discussions • Shape the design of events—from themes and formats to session structures—based on market demand and community insights • Act as the primary relationship manager for speakers before, during, and after sessions • Engage with developer communities, online forums, and industry events to identify trends and new voices • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth to drive attendance, optimize event discoverability, and ensure brand consistency
🎯 Requirements
• Proven ability to identify, recruit, and commission top-tier speakers; persuasive communicator with strong relationship-building skills • Experience curating live learning experiences, with strong instincts for format, flow, and audience interactivity • Deep understanding of developer ecosystems, influencer dynamics, and how to authentically engage audiences • Ability to align event programming with Packt’s broader commercial goals and position live sessions as scalable products • Strong pipeline management, ability to track attendance/engagement data, and iterate event formats for higher impact
