• Manage and expand Packt’s live events portfolio by aligning programming with category strategy, audience needs, and emerging trends. • Shape the event vision for each session—balancing expert strengths, practitioner interests, and Packt’s strategic priorities. • Identify new themes, formats, and opportunities for engagement, ensuring sessions remain relevant and market-leading. • Make commissioning decisions that optimize both expert credibility and long-term audience impact. • Identify, approach, and secure top-tier practitioners, thought leaders, and innovators as speakers or facilitators. • Build long-term relationships with experts that encourage repeat participation and ambassador-level advocacy. • Engage with technical ecosystems (GitHub, LinkedIn, Reddit, Stack Overflow, Discord, YouTube, conferences) to identify rising voices, expertise, and event opportunities. • Maintain deep awareness of industry trends and practitioner needs to ensure events are positioned for maximum relevance.
