📋 Description

• Review the NCAEP educational material developed by the Curriculum Development Firm (Anthesis Consulting Group Limited). • Provide technical recommendations and expert guidance on the curriculum development and implementation for the modules focused on Climate Governance priority thematic areas. • Deliver lectures based on the approved curriculum for the Governance Module/Micro-credentials course within the specified timeframe. • Serve as a member of the NCAEP Independent Expert Group, providing expert guidance on climate governance and contributing current knowledge on climate change, adaptation strategies, sustainable development, and related policy frameworks. • Support the Independent Expert Group in its advisory and knowledge-sharing role. • Facilitate interactive learning sessions, including case studies and practical exercises. • Maintain accurate attendance and engagement records to support the Program Coordinator's learner retention and dropout risk mitigation strategy. • Administer, assess, and grade participant assignments, quizzes, and final projects using the approved assessment rubrics. • Provide timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to participants. • Prepare and submit a comprehensive course completion report that includes participant performance and assessment outcomes, attendance and engagement metrics, overall class dynamics, learner group evaluations, and recommendations for improving future program iterations. • Engage with Cohort 1 Pilot stakeholders as required to support effective program delivery and stakeholder collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Possess an advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental Policy, Climate Governance, Public Administration, Environmental Law, or a closely related discipline. • Professional certification in pedagogy will be considered an asset. • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in climate policy, environmental governance, or institutional frameworks/capacity building, with a specific focus on UNFCCC, IFC Performance Standards, multilateral climate funds (e.g., GCF, GEF, Adaptation Fund) and their operational frameworks including gender and Indigenous Peoples policies. • Familiarity with the Belizean or broader Caribbean socio-political and climate governance context is highly desirable. • Ability to adopt and deliver a pre-existing curriculum, translating complex financial and technical concepts into accessible, actionable knowledge for diverse stakeholders. • Proficiency in adult-learning facilitation methodologies, including leading case study discussions and practical workshops. • Deep understanding of national and international climate governance frameworks, GCF policies (specifically the Environmental and Social Policy, Gender Policy, and Indigenous Peoples Policy), and the institutional roles of National Designated Authority and Direct Access Entities. • Proven experience in teaching, training, or facilitating high-level capacity-building programs for professionals, government officials, or graduate-level students.
