• Manage and maintain the attorneys' calendars, scheduling court appearances, depositions, and client meetings. • Track and monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with necessary legal timelines. • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court staff regarding appointment confirmations and scheduling changes. • Utilize case management software to organize and document all scheduled events accurately. • Provide timely reminders to attorneys regarding key appointments and deadlines. • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents as needed. • Support the administrative team with various tasks to enhance overall workflows.
• Proven experience as a calendar clerk or legal assistant, with a strong understanding of the U.S. legal system. • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. • Familiarity with legal calendars, timelines, and legal terminology. • Experience with legal case management software, preferably CLIO or LAWMATICS. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize deadlines effectively. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for scheduling. • Capability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality. • Available to work flexible hours to accommodate varying schedules.
