📋 Description

• Own the books for every entity, US and international, in QuickBooks Online; maintain clean entity and class structure and reconcile monthly • Direct the accounting assistant on categorization, receipts, invoices and reconciliations, and QA their work • Run payouts with the accounting assistant for contractors, partners and distributions, ensuring the right person receives the right amount at the right time with documentation • Track ownership splits and distributions so every partner knows exactly what they are owed and why • Build dashboards showing cash, revenue, costs and margins by entity and across the portfolio • Build projections and cash flow forecasts to support proactive decision-making • Provide partners with a monthly read on business performance, including growth, leakage and recommended actions • Review costs, subscriptions and vendor spend, and work with the team to optimize them • Set up finance for every new company from day one, including bank accounts, QuickBooks file and structure

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 3+ years in accounting or finance, ideally owning the books for a multi-entity business at eight figures or more • Expert in QuickBooks Online: classes, multiple entities and consolidated reporting • Comfortable across US and international entities and currencies. US tax knowledge is a plus, not a requirement. • Ecom experience is a bonus, not a requirement. It helps you understand Shopify payouts, Stripe, ad spend and contractor payments faster. • CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred • AI-native. You use AI to build models, dashboards and workflows faster, and you know what never gets uploaded. Our financial data stays private. • Available during our core hours, with strong async communication • References from founders or owners whose books you've run are a big plus
