📋 Description

• Assume technical ownership of APRO Imaging and APRO Banking Gateway • Perform senior hands-on Delphi development • Establish coding standards, review policy and technical direction for both products • Approve what is delivered to customers • Determine the code line for each correction and whether backporting to a customer release branch is warranted • Classify production errors as software defects, data issues or configuration problems • Manage production incidents through resolution with customers • Define and implement engineering practices for the Delphi codebase, including build automation and test strategy • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team • Distribute knowledge of the codebases • Act as technical point of reference for departments in the Netherlands, India and the United States • Continue contributing to development; this is not a people management position

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years hands-on Delphi development experience across both a legacy version (XE5 generation) and a current version (10.x, 11 or 12) • Intention to remain technically active • Detailed understanding of the Delphi technology stack, Oracle databases, and SQL in Oracle’s dialect • Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly Payables (AP) and Receivables (AR) data models • Experience leading a small development team while continuing to contribute technically • Demonstrable record of ownership of release decisions, production incidents and associated customer communication • Judgement to establish a shared technical standard rather than applying personal preference • Fluent written and spoken English • Ability to communicate clearly with departments across several time zones • Preferred: Oracle PL/SQL package development • Preferred: Experience introducing engineering practice, including documented standards, automated builds and test practice • Preferred: Experience supporting multiple concurrent customer versions of a single product • Preferred: Domain experience in European payment processing (SEPA, MT940, CAMT.053, EBICS) or accounts payable invoice processing with OCR and purchase order matching
