• Provide technical leadership, expertise, and guidance in customers' security transformation journeys • Define and design technical solutions securing customers' business imperatives across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio • Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs for on-prem, cloud, and security operations solutions • Conduct discovery to articulate technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers • Build and implement strategic technical account plans to meet and exceed sales quotas • Lead technical validation efforts, demos, workshops, and customer-specific technical engagements • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialists, and Channel Resources to drive implementation and adoption • Orchestrate supporting resources and promote end-to-end solutions including professional services • Understand competitive landscape and effectively differentiate Palo Alto Networks solutions • Cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders and drive security architecture transformation roadmaps • Continuously develop technical and professional skills and participate in Solutions Consultant community and industry events
• Technical account strategy and planning methodology • Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions and influencing new business initiatives • Experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles (prior experience ideal) • Ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies • Experience partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption • Experience with complex sales involving long sales processes and multiple buying centers • Proficient in English • MEDDPICC Sales methodology experience a bonus
