📋 Description

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of Forward Deployed Engineers • Set expectations and run 1:1s, feedback cycles, and performance development • Own capacity planning, staffing, engineer allocation, utilization, and delivery bottlenecks • Manage engineering delivery across strategic deployments, including milestones, dependencies, risks, escalations, and stakeholder alignment • Establish time tracking and delivery visibility through lightweight reporting • Provide technical leadership, review designs and code, and unblock high-severity production issues • Create reusable field engineering patterns, playbooks, and standards • Translate recurring customer needs into productization proposals and partner with Product and Core Engineering • Collaborate with customer architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver outcomes and build technical trust

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or data engineering roles with meaningful production responsibility • Proven ability to lead and develop engineers, including management, team leadership, coaching, hiring, and performance growth • Demonstrated success delivering complex technical projects in large enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and constraints • Strong capabilities across backend engineering, APIs, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and databases • Ability to personally own and drive smaller technical workstreams end-to-end and participate in debugging and implementation • Strong planning, prioritization, capacity planning, and risk management skills • Confident customer-facing communication with customer engineering teams and senior technical stakeholders • Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered systems is a strong plus • TypeScript, NodeJS, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and MCP knowledge
