📋 Description

• Administer and maintain the organization’s database platforms across SQL Server, Azure SQL, Managed PostgreSQL, and InfluxDB • Ensure database availability, reliability, and operational stability for production and non-production systems • Manage database performance and capacity • Own database backup, recovery, and restoration responsibilities • Monitor overall database health and address operational issues • Implement and support database changes, releases, and migrations • Maintain database security and access controls • Support DevOps-related database activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience • 5+ years of relevant work experience • Experience administering and supporting SQL Server in self-hosted/on-premises environments • Experience administering and supporting SQL Server Managed Instance and Azure SQL in cloud environments • Experience administering and supporting Azure Managed PostgreSQL environments • Experience supporting InfluxDB or comparable time-series database platforms • Experience with database performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting • Strong knowledge of relational database administration concepts • Knowledge of cloud database services spanning on-premises and Azure-hosted platforms • Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures
