• Responsible for their own caseload • Reviewing documents/discovery • Taking depositions • Retaining and consulting with experts • Attending court hearings • Reporting to clients • Preparing for trial • Opportunities for second chair trial experience and conducting own trials
🎯 Requirements
• Successful completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Active California State Bar license • Previous experience with insurance defense law • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail • Knowledge of Discovery Rules and general procedures • Effectiveness in working both independently and collaboratively • Excellent client relations • Timely reporting
