📋 Description

• Paxos is rebuilding the financial infrastructure to open the world’s financial system to everyone, enabling the instant movement of assets. • The Asset Movement team builds secure infrastructure for compliant transfers of digital assets for institutional clients. • As a Staff Software Engineer, you will set architectural direction across both Asset Orchestration and Assets Core, building scalable, reliable systems that simplify digital asset workflows for institutional clients. • Define and implement technical strategy for stablecoin infrastructure platforms spanning crypto, fiat and orchestration rails. • Architect core reusable services and APIs that drive reliable, compliant, and efficient asset movement across chains and external providers. • Lead cross-team projects to improve performance, observability, security, and developer experience. • Collaborate closely with staff engineers, tech leads, product, and operational partners to drive organizational change. • Foster a culture of technical leadership, transparency, and high standards within and across teams. • Mentor engineers at all levels to elevate system health and engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems in high-growth technology companies • Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives from conception to delivery • Deep expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems • Strong experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies • Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence across teams • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across the organization • Track record of building automation systems and improving operational efficiency • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Paxos offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package, including equity and bonuses based on both your individual performance and company performance. • Eligibility for bonuses is dependent on job level, and actual salary within the range depends on your skills, experience, and qualifications. • Expected range for the base salary component for candidates located within the United States is: $194,603 — $228,944 USD
