📋 Description
• Design, deploy, and maintain virtual environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM • Manage both Windows and Linux servers within the virtualized infrastructure • Implement and monitor system patches, updates, and performance optimizations • Execute backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical virtual machines • Collaborate with development and operations teams for system integration and deployments • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for virtualization environments and procedures • Monitor infrastructure for system health, uptime, and resource allocation • Evaluate and integrate emerging virtualization technologies to improve infrastructure agility
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience • Proven experience as a Virtualization Engineer or in a similar systems engineering role • Expertise with VMware, Hyper-V, and/or KVM platforms • Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems in virtual environments • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible • Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
