📋 Description
• Responsible for performing maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 vehicles and recreational vehicles • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of firefighting equipment and systems • Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and guidance as necessary
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience as a fire truck technician or similar role • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Certification or training in fire apparatus maintenance and repair is a plus • CDL - preferred • Prior experience with commercial truck repair • Minimum 5 years' experience as a diesel tech • Experience with fire truck repair is a giant plus
