• Drive new business through outbound prospecting and inbound leads • Run the full sales cycle end-to-end (discovery → solution → proposal → close) • Build a strong NZ pipeline and maintain accurate activity in the CRM • Partner with our recruitment team for seamless handover and great client outcomes • Represent Pear Tree’s ethical, transparent model in every client conversation • Report into the two owners
• 3+ years of sales experience • Proven ability to hunt: cold outreach, resilience, and comfort with rejection • Strong consultative selling skills (discovery, value-led selling, objection handling) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Self-starter who can work autonomously and own a market • Existing connections with NZ businesses likely to leverage remote/global hiring • Experience selling services, solutions, or subscription-style offerings • Knowledge of hiring, recruitment, HR, or talent—not required
