📋 Description

• Act as a lead team member to support and supervise field work. • Perform up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components. • Lead team members by supporting lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’. • Oversee lifting operations following skills verification of large components. • Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems. • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an Authorized Person. • Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs). • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner. • Properly document all work and provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct product experience on one or more platforms. • Direct turbine specific experience is required. • Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers. • Main Component Exchange (MCE) experience required with additional knowledge in lifting operations. • Hold specific turbine manufacture certifications. • Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment. • Ability to recognize potential issues and major faults.
