📋 Description

• Evaluate, inspect, diagnose and document internal and external composite blade damage, then photograph and assemble documentation as required. • Perform coating and structural repairs of internal and external composite blade structures, such as wind turbine blades and nacelles. • Modify and repair fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin and other composite materials as needed. • Work with site leadership to execute all contractual obligations and activities set forth with the customers daily, which can include composite repairs with respect to wind turbines. • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures. • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 year of experience working with composite materials in any industry. • Familiar with internal and external adhesive bonding. • Understanding of mixed ratios for all composite repair chemicals. • Basic knowledge of repairing leading edge (LE) and trailing edge (TE) cracks. • WDI/TWP/Work instruction. • Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine blade. • Read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
