• Act as a lead team member to support and supervise field work on-site focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency • Deep platform expertise on the Siemens Gamesa systems required, including advanced diagnostics, major component exchange leadership, and site-level technical decision authority • Lead team members by supporting lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’ • Oversee lifting operations following skills verification of large components and ability to create, review, correct, and amend lifting plans • Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an Authorized Person • Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety discussions • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner • Properly document all work in a variety of electronic formats and provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business improvements
• Minimum of 4 years of direct product experience on Siemens Gamesa Platforms • Direct turbine specific experience is required • Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers • Main Component Exchange (MCE) experience required with additional knowledge in lifting operations • SGRE Green Profile preferred • Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment • Ability to recognize potential issues and major faults • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers
