• Lead OSP engineering tasks for road move and highway widening projects • Coordinate with DOT, municipalities, utilities, and contractors • Perform field surveys, site walks, and impact assessments • Develop engineering designs, construction packages, and relocation plans • Provide cost estimates, materials lists, and project timelines • Serve as the primary engineering contact during planning, permitting, and construction phases • Maintain accurate documentation: as-builts, CAD drawings, GIS updates, and permit packages • Collaborate cross-functionally with Construction, Planning, and Permitting teams • Ensure compliance with RUS, NESC, and company design standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3–5+ years OSP Engineering experience • Strong knowledge of OSP design (aerial & underground) • Experience working with state DOTs, municipalities, and 3rd-party contractors • Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and OSP design software • Ability to work independently in field environments and manage multiple priorities
