📋 Description

• performing up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components • conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems • detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment • ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers • direct Turbine Specific experience is required- GE, SGRE, and Suzlon experience is preferred • at times, you may be required to support lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components

🎯 Requirements

• performing up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components including Generator Bearings, Generator Slip Rings, Rotor & Stator Cables, Gearbox HSS replacement, HSS bearings, IMS replacement, IMS bearings, Yaw Drive Repair/Exchange, Generator Exchanges & Trunnion Pin Repairs • required to climb vertically at least 300ft • maintain certifications in all areas required by the position • Direct Turbine Specific experience is required- GE, SGRE, and Suzlon experience is preferred • May be required to perform LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) of equipment as an Authorized Person • At times, you may be required to support lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components • MCE experience required with additional knowledge in lifting/hoisting operations. • Generator and gearbox bearing exchange experience required. • Ability to measure and interpret digital and analog calipers. • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
