• You’ll lead and optimize the data operations that serve as Pearl’s backbone—ensuring that every exchange, pipeline, and integration is accurate, reliable, and scalable. • Own the data flow: Manage inbound and outbound data exchanges, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all systems and vendor integrations. • Build scalable systems: Partner with Engineering and Platform Development to improve how data from disparate sources (CMS, MA payers, HIEs, vendors) is acquired, validated, and delivered. • Monitor and maintain performance: Establish dashboards and monitoring processes to track SLAs, delivery performance, and data quality metrics across all pipelines. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Product, Engineering, and vendor partners (including Ursa and Quantician) to coordinate data ingestion, troubleshoot issues, and support new integrations. • Problem-solve under pressure: Diagnose and resolve complex data issues quickly, balancing short-term fixes with long-term process improvements. • Drive operational excellence: Develop documentation, automation, and best practices that reduce manual intervention and increase reliability. • Lay the foundation for growth: Help establish and lead a centralized Data Operations function responsible for ensuring data reliability and scalability across Pearl’s expanding ecosystem.
• 5+ years of experience in data operations, data management, or file integration, ideally within healthcare or another data-intensive domain. • Strong understanding of large-scale data pipelines and exchange workflows; familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., CCLF, BCDA, ADT, QRDA) preferred. • Solid technical foundation—comfortable with SQL, cloud storage concepts, and common data exchange protocols. • Proven ability to identify, triage, and resolve complex data quality and delivery issues. • Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset; excels at creating structure, accountability, and automation in operational processes. • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, and external vendors. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
