📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Node.js. • Build secure, high-performance APIs and integrations for fintech and payment-related systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven services. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices. • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with SRE and support teams. • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. • Support agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience. • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with Node.js. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems. • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. • Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience with Docker and containerized application development. • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery pipelines. • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in distributed teams. • Excellent communication skills in English. • Must be located in the APAC region and available to work during Canadian overnight hours.
