📋 Description

• Architect and break down ambiguous product problems into concrete, well-scoped tasks for agents • Ship full-stack features from design through production release • Design and operate complex agent orchestration systems for real product features • Design clean, consistent, durable APIs and data models • Contribute to Peek’s AI-first engineering culture by sharing patterns and documenting effective practices • Use AI tools such as Claude Code, Augment, or equivalent to accelerate implementation and critically review outputs • Collaborate with Product and Design to identify specification gaps, surface edge cases, and determine shipment readiness • Maintain code quality through structured code, thorough code reviews, adequate test coverage, and prevention of AI-introduced production bugs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development using Java and/or JavaScript with a meaningful track record of shipping production systems • Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, SQL, service reliability, and debugging production issues • Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or equivalent) in a production engineering workflow • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, including logic errors, security issues, maintainability, and ownership of merged code • Strong system design instincts, including tradeoffs, edge cases, scaling, and failure scenarios • Clear communication of technical choices and ability to identify specification gaps and disagree constructively • Interest in Elixir or functional programming languages • Experience building B2B SaaS products, complex multi-tenant data models, or transactional workflows is nice to have • Experience on small, high-output teams is nice to have • Frontend experience with Angular or modern JavaScript frameworks is nice to have • Travel, hospitality, or experiences industry background is nice to have • Must be currently located in Mexico • Mexican work authorization required
