âą Establish the operating cadence for the product and engineering area. âą Apply minimum viable structure to keep teams aligned and ensure decisions are documented. âą Support recurring sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos. âą Own workback plans and dependency maps for releases, integrations, and cross-team engineering work. âą Maintain project trackers and visibility surfaces, including trustworthy Linear views. âą Own standing views for production bugs, in-flight work, and blocked items. âą Surface technical and timeline risks, challenge optimistic plans, and enforce readiness gates. âą Run end-to-end cross-team programs including feature launches, integrations, and technical migrations. âą Scope, sequence, schedule, and communicate programs to stakeholders. âą Manage handoffs and seams between product, engineering, and other workstreams. âą Resolve cross-team blockers directly and clear dependencies. âą Apply escalation frameworks and support leadership decision-making. âą Own the first-responder rota for incidents and client interrupts. âą Translate engineering realities for non-technical stakeholders. âą Maintain portfolio views and produce weekly written status updates. âą Support OKR reporting and tracking, surfacing progress and drift. âą Report to the Principal Technical Program Manager and partner with engineering leads and product managers.
âą 6+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, ideally in AI/ML, platform infrastructure, or developer tooling. âą Track record running complex programs with multi-team dependencies and hard external deadlines. âą Genuine technical fluency: comfortable reading a system architecture and understanding the implications; comfortable in conversations about APIs, integration design, and platform trade-offs without being the engineer in the room. âą Engineering background a strong plus. âą Structured thinker who writes clean documents and can produce clear framing with a recommended path from ambiguity, incomplete specs, and competing stakeholder views. âą Communication at every altitude: leadership updates, detailed dependency maps for technical leads, and sound judgement about the appropriate level of detail. âą Comfortable contributing to a young TPM discipline by helping shape templates, cadences, and norms. âą Bonus: experience in a high-growth scale-up and/or a company building infrastructure while using it on real customer workloads. âą Must have legal right to work and remain in the country in which you intend to work from. âą Required to submit a resume and answer application questions about program delivery, architecture risk, and building TPM processes.
