📋 Description
• Become the go-to expert on CFO/SME needs at Pennylane • Ensure our product addresses the real business challenges of this customer segment • Influence product decisions across all relevant tracks • Conduct CFO interviews to deepen understanding of business needs • Map actual financial workflows of SMEs • Analyze field feedback with an expert perspective • Participate in user tests to identify business friction points • Join product committees to represent CFOs' voice • Help PMs prioritize based on real impact for Large SMEs • Monitor regulatory changes affecting CFOs • Analyze real usage of competing solutions (Sage, Cegid, SAP) • Anticipate emerging trends in the finance function for SMEs • Train Product and Sales teams on CFO processes • Provide Marketing with concrete field use cases • Take part in demos for strategic clients • Influence medium- to long-term business vision on the Large SME roadmap
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in financial management software/ERP/accounting software • Deep knowledge of CFO processes (accounting, reporting, consolidation, treasury, taxation) and the challenges faced by SMEs with 15–500 employees • Proficiency with market tools (Sage, Cegid, SAP Business One, or equivalents) • Product Management experience: ability to translate business needs into product specifications • Ability to influence without hierarchical authority: you build credibility through expertise • Experience in matrixed/cross-functional environments: working with multiple teams • Teaching skills: simplify complex business concepts • Pragmatism: distinguish the essential from the secondary and prioritize naturally • Curiosity: seek the "why" behind every customer request • Collaboration: work cross-functionally with PM/PMM/Sales/Marketing • Proactivity: anticipate needs rather than just react
