📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines • Write SQL and build ETL/ELT jobs • Integrate data from multiple internal systems into the data warehouse • Own data modelling for regulatory reports • Ensure data is structured, accurate, well documented, and audit-ready • Build automated data-quality checks and monitoring into pipelines • Migrate data processes from Salesforce/Conga to the modern data stack • Collaborate with Product Development on data and schema changes • Collaborate with Compliance colleagues on the business logic behind reporting numbers • Become familiar with existing pipelines and report-generation processes • Improve the most business-critical reports first through data-quality checks and monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL • Hands-on experience with a general-purpose programming language, e.g. Python • Solid ETL/ELT and data modelling fundamentals • Experience owning a pipeline or data model end to end • Minimum of approximately 2 years of relevant data engineering experience • Experience thinking through data quality and upstream failure scenarios • Comfort with high autonomy and ownership • Strong stakeholder management skills • Clear, precise written and spoken English • Ability to work effectively and empathically in a multidisciplinary team • Confidence with good data engineering practices and patterns • Experience working for companies in Europe or the US is a considerable plus • Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, Airbyte, Dagster, and AWS is nice to have • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is nice to have • Background in a regulated industry is nice to have • No prior knowledge of pensions, UK financial regulation, or Salesforce is needed to start
