📋 Description
• Completes the Start of Care and follow-up education for home nutrition counseling patients via Video or Telephone. • Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis-specific nutrition therapy and counseling and operates as a subject matter expert to the sales, intake and clinical team • Performs duties as assigned in a timely, efficient, competent manner, including timely completion of documentation and communication to internal and external customers. • Creates and provides education to the employees to keep them abreast of new information in nutrition therapies. • Creates/reviews documents that will be used for customer education. • Participates in quality management meetings and quality management initiatives • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
🎯 Requirements
• Registered Dietitian with at least two years of experience • Experience in counseling patients in weight loss, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, PCOS, eating disorders, wound healing, renal issues • Participation in CAQH; Must maintain credentialing with identified commercial insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare • Able to work autonomously and make independent decisions within generally accepted medical practices, regulations and guidelines.
