• Support the commercial organization in the EMEA Region and help implement the regional Inorganics strategy • Coordinate between central product management and regional sales and marketing teams • Provide product expertise, competitive response capability, and local market intelligence to field teams • Analyze win/loss data and capture regional voice-of-customer input • Facilitate demand creation activities, track regional KPIs, and drive financial performance actions • Provide real-time product expertise to regional sales teams, support customer demonstrations, and participate in key account meetings • Lead regional competitive response to competitor launches, pricing changes, and customer claims • Support sales management with product mix analysis, forecasting inputs, and portfolio utilisation data • Participate in distributor management through product training, commercial support, and competitive tools • Lead regional execution of global product launches, adapting plans to regional conditions, regulatory requirements, and commercial priorities • Coordinate launch campaigns, customer events, and demand generation activities with Regional Marketing Managers • Manage regional beta programmes and report feedback to the central programme team • Deliver regional sales training for new product launches • Report competitive activity, customer feedback, application trends, and market developments to central product management • Conduct customer conversations focused on competitive usage, unmet needs, pricing sensitivity, and regulatory trends • Represent PerkinElmer at regional scientific conferences, trade shows, and customer events • Provide regional input on product requirements, pricing feedback, and application priorities for roadmap processes • Build relationships with key regional customers, opinion leaders, early adopters, and large-volume buyers • Support key account teams with product-specific input for tenders, framework agreements, and strategic accounts • Partner with the Applications Scientist on customer demonstrations, method development, and application-specific support
• 8–12 years of experience in product management, technical sales, applications science, or commercial marketing within analytical instrumentation or scientific equipment • Broad working knowledge of at least one product line technology: atomic spectroscopy, chromatography, or materials characterisation, and its key regional application markets • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively as a field-based specialist, managing multiple concurrent customer and commercial priorities with limited day-to-day management oversight • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region (40–50%) • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline • Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in a relevant analytical or materials science discipline • Direct hands-on laboratory experience with analytical instrumentation in a research, QC, or applications environment • Prior experience in a field-based role such as applications scientist, field sales specialist, or field marketing • Native or near-native fluency in the primary commercial language of the assigned region where English is not dominant
