📋 Description

• Lead the market development sales activities in assigned geography. • Develop a pipeline to meet or exceed Territory revenue objectives. • Schedule and perform product demonstrations. • Manage and grow accounts including industrial, research facilities, hospitals and universities. • Build and maintain relationships with customers to meet and exceed revenue objectives. • Actively manage and grow your opportunities and contacts list within CRM. • Develop new business, grow existing business, and troubleshooting customer problems. • Perform product installations and provide user training. • Use your consultative selling skills to overcome and manage objections, and negotiate to obtain sales. • Network and interface with internal colleagues to share information and best practices. • Liaise between in-house R&D and key customers to develop applications and market opportunities. • Contribute to overall company growth by attending national or international conferences and exhibitions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in the Life Sciences. • Seasoned sales professional with two to five years capital scientific equipment sales experience. • Experience with selling into hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotech with a focus on NGS and Oncology markets will be beneficial. • Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable plans. • In-depth knowledge of molecular biology and proteomics experience a plus. • Experience performing product demonstrations, product installation and training. • Critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and timelines. • Up to 40% travel.
