📋 Description

• Maintain a complex backend processing more than 350 million web server requests/day • Manage, modernize and innovate across our fleet of API, process and database servers in AWS cloud • Terraform architecture for cloud architectural consistency • Build a modern API application with functional architecture in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, or Sinatra • Build maintainable and tested code using RSpec with TDD & BDD • Understand strong architectural patterns beyond standard MVC of Rails • Work with, mentor, and guide a distributed team of developers • Align with pairing hours of their team in respective regions

🎯 Requirements

• Timezone requirements: EU-based must be available 11am-8pm CET (Winter) or 12pm-9pm CET (Summer) • Brasil-based must be available 8am-5pm EST • North America-based must be available 8am-5pm EST • Be available to collaborate between 9am-1pm EST • Experience working for remote, global teams • Excited about and open to pair programming • Open to learning languages outside current server specialty (Swift, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript) • Senior-level expertise working with Docker, K8s, SQL, Linux, and AWS • Fully understand and evaluate AI-generated code
