📋 Description

• Step in as the primary owner of the Search & Discovery domain at PMG • Drive this area forward, responsible for both defining the strategic roadmap and executing the code • Take charge of how millions of users navigate our platforms • Optimize search relevance, ranking algorithms, filtering, and auto-complete • Lay the groundwork for the future of AI-driven semantic search.

🎯 Requirements

• Roughly 6 years of engineering experience • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency • Ability to take a high-level product vision and translate it into a concrete technical roadmap • Direct experience building and optimizing core search functionalities • Hands-on experience working with search engines like Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Algolia • Strong experience building scalable web applications with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React • Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) • Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work • Working proficiency in English is required.
